WOW. So I took my boring ole 16" MP5 (Yes the clone) out to try it out. My buddy had a few other friends out shooting that day. It was a bit chilly in the morning but warmed up to almost a nice day by mid afternoon.

I showed you my MP5 in a previous thread here. It ran nearly flawless through 8 or 10 mags. I think I had 1 FTF and 2 FTE's. Interesting thing about the MP5 receiver you can actually lose a case inside it and it will still run. I could shake the gun and hear it rattle around.....Rather funny. Anyways, its fun and accurate, just what I was hoping for.

There were 2 other guys though that reaally brought the whiz bang. Had a SBR'd MP5 with suppressor, MSAR Aug clone AR, both suppressed.

MSAR with Trijicon Love this rig. The barrel is threaded for a suppressor as well.

What an MP5 is supposed to look like

Me with an AR

Anyways, real good times. Dont believe the Hollywood hype, even with suppressors the rifles are still fairly loud.

And just so you know, I'm filling out my SBR paperwork today to cut my barrel. 😀

UNless I decide to get a suppressor first......Decisions decisions..... 😱

Dude, you can't put a suppressor AND RDS on the same gun!!! Didn't CoD4 teach you anything? Jeez ...

Looks like fun, wish I could convince my wife to let me, *ahem*, invest in our future security like that.

Pretty sweet looking MP5 you got there!

I wish shooting was more convenient for me but as it stands there is only one range I can go to all year, and it's indoors and about 30 miles from my house. Serviceable, but not that much fun. There's an outdoor one that's open in the spring, summer, and fall.

Would be nice to have a larger selection of guns to choose from too, but as it stands, I don't even fire my one gun often enough to justify buying another. I'd love to get a .357 revolver at some point though.

S&W and Ruger make some beautiful .357's, and you can shoot .38 special in them to save a buck for plinking. You should definitely get one 🙂

a NICE and heavy K-baffle mixed with sub-sonic ammo is dead quiet. Maybe they are doing it wrong? 😕

We werent using subsonic ammo. I'm sure if we did it would get far quieter....
