Wendy's is still solid

Had their 4 for $4 today. It includes a drink, fries, 4 chicken nuggets and a freaking double cheeseburger (double stack). The nuggets were excellent, and the cheeseburger tasted just like I remember Wendy's burgers tasting back in the 1980s - totally awesome. So, Wendy's is still solid, and should be on every ATOT'ers approved dining list. Unlike Burger King. Just a head's up.

I make the 4 for 4 deal sweeter with my free frosty with any purchase key chain. Bargain for a buck! I remember back when they used to mail out coupons for Wendy's like "Free Dave's Hot and Juicy burger with the purchase of small drink and fries". That was like a $5 burger. With it you could basically get a meal for $3.64. But just to be a cheap ass I would use the receipt coupon from a previous order to knock off $2 from the order, at the same time I used the frosty key chain for a free frosty. Would get like a massive meal for $1.46. They have since cracked down on it.

Wendy's is the best of the three I'll reiterate. I have a McD's a few blocks from me so I have it the most. Then a Burger King like a mile from me so I have that the second most, but not often. Wendy's is like 4-5 miles away so I have it the least, as in very rarely. I think a Wendy's double cheeseburger beats a quarter pounder/double quarter pounder or a whopper w/cheese/double whopper. It's also usually the most well composed burger of the bunch.

Are you talking about Dave's Double? That 1/2 burger is like $6 just for the burger. I agree it's better than McD's Quarter Pounder but it's not fair comparison. Dave's Double combo is ~$9 vs $6 for McD's Quarter Pounder w/ cheese combo. It's 50% more expensive but not 50% better.

I agree. Wendy's 4 for $4 is a good variety for the price, and the quality is decent for $4. McDonald's is obviously trash by comparison (but I still eat it because I like shitty fast food). The 4 for $4 is a better deal for me than the large sized two cheeseburger meal I usually get from McDonald's.

I think the only thing that might beat it is Burger King with coupons. I get that monthly coupon bundle thing in the mail and it always has some coupons for BK that give you some pretty good deals. Using those coupons, I think I could come out a little ahead at BK. However, the BK by me is usually never busy and they have historically served me old ass fries any time I go, so I avoid going to it the once a week - twice a week I grab some form of fast food.

I don't eat fast food burgers enough to worry about a couple bucks. I'd just rather have what's better. Which is why I go to Shake Shack when I can, cause it's the best, even though it's pricier.

For fucks sake, you need to grow some tastebuds. Taco bell is absolute shit. Wendys is way better than McDonalds, Burger King, and most of Arbys menu.
