He said that the timing belt, waterpump and a few seals couldn't be accident related. (bullshiiiiiiiiiiit)
However it now seems that maybe Honda is just trying to make an extra buck, should we say we want the car brought elsewhere before Honda tries to buttfuck us some more?

Do not forget to claim diminished value.

There is no way that thing can weigh more than 10 cars. Looks no more than 250lbs.

I'm pretty sure 25 tons means the jack can lift 25 tons, not that the jack itself weight 25 tons.

nobody said it weighed 25tons (its a 25ton construction jack, it can support that much weight)....the jack weighs about 50-60lbs since i picked it up and put it in the trunk.

domoMKIV, please put your updates in the OP, it's a pain to search through a thread for your updates (you already edited the OP to reflect that it's updated).

Dood, your car got jacked.

And I agree with you, Honda is just wanting to pocket some extra cash if you had the stuff replaced not too long ago. I'd get a second opinion.

Yeah it states we can choose who we want too, but hes now saying we cant since we already picked a place.

It really ins't your problem if the dealership is screwing your insurance company. The dealer man have told you to replace the water pump and timing belt because that is what they always do when a costumer comes in and needs engine work. The shop doesn't have a clue if there is internal damage to the parts and the leaking seals is a good indicator that something was damaged.

Edit makes sure you get something in writing to establish the dealership stating the damage to the parts. Then make sure your insurance company knows that you will claim any future engine failures related to those parts. If they fail to repair a car after an accedient they are liable for the damages
