some jerkoff didnt have all his ****** held down in his truck or something so this was right around a bend and a slight decline on the freeway on our way home from the gym tonight.

causes this kind of damage to your oil pan when you hit it at 65-70, i mean, it could have been worse, im sure had it hit the wheel it would have probably sent us off into the semi next to us or into the trees on the right.

4:39pm:
- car went into the dealership, mechanics said more than likely the motor needs to be replaced.
- claims adjuster says to just replace the oil pan and fix the subframe, try it out
- mechanics do so, oil still leaks out somewhere around the timing belt
- mechanics are now saying the timing belt and waterpump need to be replaced (which were replaced at 90k - car has 106k now) and are busted NOT due to the accident (so the cost has to come out of pocket).
- bullshit, bullshit and more bullshit.
5:40pm:
claims adjuster said they'll fix the seals but Honda didnt even mention the timing belt or waterpump to him.
This car was running 100% before this mishap....
He said that the timing belt, waterpump and a few seals couldn't be accident related. (bullshiiiiiiiiiiit)
However it now seems that maybe Honda is just trying to make an extra buck, should we say we want the car brought elsewhere before Honda tries to buttfuck us some more?
6:38pm:
now the claims adjuster is telling us we cant take it somewhere else.
6:52pm:
claims adjuster says the mechanics are just going to replace piece by piece as they pull apart the motor to fix all damaged parts....
WTF?????

2:22pm:
drive belt, timing belt, waterpump were said to need replacing. we said we wanted to take it elsewhere, the claims adjuster said no and if we did he wouldnt pay for the work thats already been done.
we now have a lawyer.
on another note, a belt or the belts were squealing like pigs after the impact with this jackstand, and of course they are still standing by the fact that these belts could not and were not damaged by the accident.
Because of course a car running with no oil and making a serious impact with a 60lb object at highway speeds doesnt ever do any damage...jerks.

2:25am:
well we got the car back for the 2nd time on Tuesday. The first time they gave us the car back it was in really bad shape (bad shaking at 45mph+, clunking noise from driver side) and a weird whirring noise from behind the firewall.
So about a week later the car went BACK into the shop and they replaced the broken motor mount that they somehow didn't get to before (wtf?)
car makes a bad whirring sound now, even more noticeable than before, yet noone is doing ****** to fix anything because the insurance company is a bunch of dipshits telling us we have no proof the car wasn't doing this stuff before the accident.
there is a heatshield missing underneath the car so hot air comes through right above the ebrake handle...yet somehow that isnt from the accident according to insurance (even though hot air wasn't heating up my arm when i drove before)
all in all...this insurance company is a pile of crap and the attorney is now taking over to deal with them the rest of the way.
