and from Monarch PC

BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC 256MB GDDR3/PCI-E/TV-Out/Dual-DVI (Retail Box)

We plan on overclocking and my friend will mainly use the rig to play MMORPG's mostly EQ2 (hence the 2GB of memory) what's everyone think? FYI he has a nice 19" Hitichai CRT, Keyboard, and Mouse Already.

I got the exact same pair in my system right now, purchased from newegg. For the Toshiba, make sure you don't flash its firmware to the newer TM01, keep it at the factory TM00, unless you want to make it region free, then flash it w/ the RPC1 firmware based on TM00

For the NEC 3520A, the best result I have so far is flash the drive w/ modified firmware for NEC 3520A from here and Taiyo Yuden media from Rima.com or FujiFilm made in japan labled media (also Taiyo Yuden) from BestBuy.

Thanks for the Info on the Optical Drives Baked 🙂 I doubt he'll be burning alot of DVDs mostly CD's he just wanted the ability to do so for data backup and to make an OS image w/ ghost and all his basic software installed on DVD.
