Bought a G1 on eBay, & should have it next week, how do you-all like yours?

Can I visit the app store via WiFi?

Has anyone done the TMobile Web hack instead of the data plan?

my roomie returned G1 and bought BB Bold he loves it. G1 lacks SMS with attachment that you cannot save or forward to. web surfering is slow and G1 also shut down when you take a picture for no apparent reason even he tried to exchange for working G1 the result is same.

I have had my G1 since launch and I love it. I am waiting for some really good apps to come out though. There are good ones, just don't push the G1 as far as I think they could.

Complaints:
Can't install apps to SD card
Battery life only ok

as an early adopter I like it although there is much to be improved. I expect the major improvements to happen in Q1 09 when app developers start charging for their programs and the on screen keyboard is implemented
