well, for at least a month or so!!! :p No, this isn't one of those dumbass "My life has changed and I must leave AT forever" posts, I just won't have cable, the internet, or hell, even a land phone for that time.

My local carrier for all three, Knology, will not be able to setup my newly built house up for their services for over a month. Their waiting list is currently over 35 days. My only other option is Comcast, but I'd rather not fork over my left nut for their overpriced and delinquent services (although, it seems from my post that Knology is to), and then I have to look for a phone carrier later.

I guess I need that time off, if not, my house would just be a pile of unopened boxes while I screwed around on the internet. Hopefully I can use this time to do something constructive :)

I got comcast to agree to a year of internet and cable (no premium channels) for $34.95

I'd rather have another choice but there's no good cable provider in my area besides them....

How in the hell?!?! They run lots of promotions, which give great rates for a few months, but after that their normal rates suck. :confused:

Well, their current promotion is 6 months broadband for 19.95, but after those 6 months it's back to normal rates, which are higher than what knology offers, plus, I still want to keep my knology e-mail address (it's been my addy for over 4 years). I live in a small town, we don't get any of the good rates people in larger cities are offered.

Well, that's going to be in at least a month - I need to paint, and furniture is good too (still have to find that) :p. So far, I have a sofa, and a table, that's about it :p

Well I don't like Gateway or the Scion much, but I wub my Maxima.

Despite the fact that it's rear end has been folded like an accordion, it still drives wonderfully. :p

btw.....it looks like you're gonna have some work ahead of you....but I bet you'll have a nice place when it's all said and done. I second, third, or whatever the idea of pics when you get everything moved in and situated! No more pics of your sister though.....I don't wanna embarrass myself anymore. :D
