Well this isn't an awkward living situation at all

At the beginning it was 3 friends where they were all sharing a house together with the parents of one of them. They're all in their mid 20's. The son has since married and moved out yet the two remaining friends are still there. Until the parents ask them to leave they're going to continue staying there.

I really don't know how they can feel comfortable living like that. I feel weird just staying a long weekend at my parent's place.

Meh, if everyone is cool with it who gives a fuck? If the two "kids" just treat the parents like older housemates what's the difference? If the parents are "parenting" the two "kids" then yeah, it's off.
