I have ~10m of these "limited" edition snowmen if you run out and need a few more.

Eek, $1500 investment.

Hell, I just bought 5 for kicks. If they don't sell, I'll just wear $10 pins.

whatare you gonna do charge 15 for shipping ? if you check ebay prices on their pins for sale, they're barely selling. The only reason why the Coins sold so well was that it's made of real silver 12Grams worth and I'm sure there are a lot more coin collectors out there.
Patience, grasshopper. The coins were worthless, they cost about $3 to make.

There is no concern for spending $1,500 on these though? After all one main difference between these and the coins are that they are geared towards the holidays, more specifically the 2003 holiday season...
My cost is $1800. It's $1800 from the coins, really, so it's just a perpetual gamble. I doubt I'll lose money on them. Yes, they're holiday pins, but they appeal to pin collectors as well as the new "ebay-ana" collectors. We'll see!

I bought 40 of their limited edition silver coins for $10 each. My average sale price was... (drumroll please)... $70!!!! Weeee!

Also 40 x 70$ = $2,800 - NOT $1,800. Your story has more holes than the freaking movie holes.

My love for snowmen?

They're a limited edition that will sell out in the next 48 hours. From then on they'll be ostensibly rare, and worth more than I paid.

Capitalism!

I think they're still available :(

Blah, blah, blah. I said average price, the last ones went for upwards of $100. My average sale on them was $70 each. I sold many of them directly as well. There's always a curve for these things, as "scarcity" becomes implied in the marketplace. You clearly have no grasp on such things.

Pay attention to remedial math, too. $1800 is my cost for the pins, not the coins. Completely different concepts, capiche?

hey iwearnosox,

did you buy any of those Ebay snow glodes? Think they'll be worth more than $40 once (if?) they sell out?

Thinking of buying one or two of them.

My bet is at least $60+ on them, although they will take longer to sell out. They just came out today.

I can't imagine them not going for what you paid for them, ever. Snowglobes are hot.

hmm...so if I buy 3 at $40 each, that's $120.

If I sell 2 for (at least) $60, that'd be $120.

So I'd get a snowglobe for free :)

Safe bet, imho. I bet it takes over 2 weeks to roll through the globes, although ebay's doing some heavy promotions on them starting monday.

Your best bet is to buy 5, sell 4.

At Ebay you can only view your last few pages of sales, starting from the latest till (nov 14th. to Agust 16th) The only 3 sales I could find for your 70$ sale, then two $16 sales. I found no $100 sales.

And no, I'm not the "Asshat" pm'ing you - talk about ADD? I have a better source of income than trying to rip people off on ebay for coins and pins. Momma must be proud!

Also there was nothing wrong with my "remedial math". Your cut downs are more pathetic than the way you make money! You put [b[It's $1800 from the coins[/b]. So I took it you meant that's what you made from the coins. How exactly you gather that's a math deficiency is beyond me, it's the inability to pay attention to small details. My figures were right though.

Anyways....gl selling your pins?
