I most like the "How you did, question by question" link since it actually lists how OTHERS did. People did poorly on these questions: Stem cells, lasers, antibiotics, and electrons. It is a sad fact that people have strong opinions on things like stem cells but only 52% know the most basic piece of what a stem cell is. It is also quite sad that people don't know about antibiotics yet they flood doctors with demands for them at every little sniffle. No wonder we are getting drug resistant diseases with the overuse.
People did well with: heart attacks, tsunami, GPS, and continents. All the questions that have little to no political battles.
Also I gound the true/false question on lasers with people aged 65+ to be interesting. Only 29% got the question right when random guessing would give a 50% correct result. They get it so wrong that they do WORSE than random guessing. Same goes with electrons.
