Well there goes my plan to get DSL Extreme

I have att dsl and it is great other than the caps. I was going to swap to dsl extreme but today they tod me that I have to have an att phone line or I cant use their service. Shit like this should be illegal

Just get the most basic plan they offer. Should be very cheap. See if they have "emergency only service" where the only number you can call is 911. Some places have that and it's cheeeeeeap.

Try another CSR. I am with ATT DSL Extreme 6 Mb for $19.95/month and nothing else. No land line fee, no tax, no other fee, nothing, just $19.95/month and it is good for 1 year and no cap.
