exactly...and think about the climate a few months ago in this country. speaking out about presidentially backed policies was practially blacklisting yourself. that idea came too close for comfort.

PLEASE SEND US SOMETHING THAT ISNT BUSH!

The only possible motivation I can see for a program like this is the possibility of "insider trading". That potential terrorists would be bidding on acts before they actually commited them, thus supplying intelligence.

Lol, talk about back-assward intelligence gathering.

Well now that they are canning the program, you might want to check out the PAM website before it goes bye-bye.

not that bush ever cared about the value of money.

now it proves for sure that his administration thinks people who make less than
$1,000,000 a year are meant to be fooled around with

How this idea was floated, taken into serious consideration and then actually funded and initiated is beyond me. This has to be one of the most extreme examples of short-sighted thinking I've ever seen.

If anyone from the Bush administration is re-elected if and after the public hears about this, I'll lose a great deal of hope for our country.

Not saying that everyone in the bush administration was responsible for this...but dayam, how the HELL did someone actually take this idea seriously in the first place?!

The Pentagon has gone completely out of control. Notice this was run by Poindexter as well? Rumsfeld and his budies have lost touch with reality and morality.

Prepare to be disappointed. I'd wager this is the merest blip on the radar for Joe Sixpack.

Unbelievable. It's scary to think that things like this are being thought up by people who are supposed to be protecting this country.

WTF? Not exactly a high point in morality....or intelligence for our government.
