Fully loaded, runs around $55K. Decided to go with the Monaco Blue Metallic =)
Going to get the full service spa including the Sports Package, Steptronic Automatic Transmission, Paddle Shifters, Active Steering, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Comfort Access, Active Cruise Control, On-Board Navigation System, Power Rear Sunshade, Satellite Radio and Park Distance Control (rear).

And I must also thank my credit union for the awesome rate ;)

damn.....

It's like 20k over the base 330i (being replaced by the 335i).

Funk that, might as well just get the upcoming V8-powered M3

Nice but I'm a purest.

I would do a 335 without...

Automatic Tranny
Active Steering (Maybe)
Comfort Access
Active Cruise Control
On-Board NAV (no iDrive)
Park Distance Control

That's cool, I guess.

Call me crazy, but I would've picked up a lightly used E46 M3 SMG and pocketed $15k.

NA S54 straight-six...mmmm...

It's not just that.

It's that you want to keep these German cars as basic and mechanical as possible. Otherwise, pray you don't keep the car after the warranty expires. Germans + electronic gee-wiz-bang gizmos = setting yourself up for trouble.

Get use to paying $1000 every time you visit the service department.

It's like 20k over the base 330i (being replaced by the 335i).

Funk that, might as well just get the upcoming V8-powered M3[/quote]

Why compare a base car to a fully loaded one (especially BMW?) IIRC the difference in a similiarly loaded 330 and 335 is around $3k.

my brother is dying for this car (basically similar specs to yours too - though he likes the beige interior and the black wood and 6MT). maybe your purchase will make him get one too!

congrats on the purchase!

A $20k spread with options for a 3er with the same engine is downright INSANE. Like I said, e92 M3 FTW

Just playing around at BMW's web site.

I'm not settled on an exterior color.
But I like the black leather with brushed Al trim.
I would get the manual tranny.
Sport Package.
Active Steering. (I think.)
Premium Package.
Cold Weather Package.
$47,220.

For sh!ts and giggles I went over to Porsche's web site and configured a Cayman (non-S):

Gaurds Red Exterior
Sand Beige Standard Leather
Bi-xenon Headlight Package
Sport Package
18" Cayman S Wheels
Standard Interior Seats
Heated Seats
Bose Surround Sound System
$56,550

Sorry, but I would take that over the 335 any day of the week!

Yeah but the 335 is still a lot quicker than lets say a 2002 S4.
