Yeah, the rounds should be as long as the men.

At the end of the 2nd round, the fighting on the ground wouldn't have stopped.

At the end of the 3rd round, Carano would have had more time to stomp that other chick.
 
yeah they need tomake the womens rounds 5 min. but wow gina dominated.

if the 3rd round had been 5 minutes she would have knocked her out.

The next fight is the real main event, Arlovski vs Nelson. Hopefully Arlovski maintains his aggressiveness from his previous fight. I'm interested in seeing just how good of a striker Paul Daley is in his fight against Shields, though Shields is the favorite.

i agree. even if ken had not got hurt this is the real main event.

i have seen Roy fight a few diffrent times. the guy is fricken great. BUT arlovski is a helll of a fight too. though a Black belt in BJJ so if it goes down he may take it.

either way im hopeing a damn good fight. both of these fighters are great.
 
Nelson isn't really on Arlovski's level, specially showed there. His body type can pose problems though, as he showed. Arlovski kept allowing himself to be pushed into the cage, should have circled more I guess. Still, impressive showing by Arlovski I think, glad he used his leg kicks too.

Carano was 1.75 pounds over the 141-pound limit the first time she stepped on the scale, with her clothes on, and was even over the limit the second time she stepped on the scale, naked. It's not clear what she did the third time that finally did the trick, but she did make weight and the fight will go on tonight.

waggy the event CBS broadcast went well over it's time slot. If I remember correctly 40 minutes or so, not sure they'll let that happen again. But you can't predict how long an event will be unless it's all fixed fights 🙂
