I guess I never should have gotten my hopes up. I didn't get anything on my list this year. I didn't get bad gifts or anything, it's just my parents asked me for as short list (2 or 3 things) and they couldn't be bothered to go out and buy anything off of that short list, it's aggrivating how they can go shopping for hours on other people and find exactly what they want, but can't be bothered to get anything that their son asked for (btw, for those of you saying I was spoiled, I asked for small things, a cell phone face plate, a video game and a money clip). How degrading. I guess making a list makes you get your hopes up, what a stupid thing to do.

When are you guys going to learn, Christmas is not about giving or receiving, it's about eating too much and getting drunk, err, I mean it's about loving your family, Yea, that's it, loving your family.
 
As token a response as this is, just be happy you got something. I didn't get much of what I wanted but money is tight and I understand that. Learn the lesson in life that if you want something you have to work hard for yourself and earn it yourself. This is why I've had a job since I was legally old enough to work.

:Q Wow, you really have it tough. Sounds like you should report your parents to CSD for abuse or neglect. All those National Geographic articles of third world countries I have read in the past are humorous compared to what you describe... Parents around the globe will be glad to read this thread to set straight the fact their job as a parents is to cower down as a half beaten dog to the whims and whimpers of a spoiled brat- even if it is only a freak'n cell phone cover!

I'm like..wtf?? christmas isn't about gifts and if that's what you think it's all about then you're celebrating the wrong holiday!! That shut him up real good.

Us Chinese people save the gifts (money) for Chinese New Year. HECK YEA!
