Haha thats great OP

One day I was driving home from school on the 405 and this guy was all over my tail. Usually I'll move out of the fast lane if I'm not keeping up with the pace of the fast lane, but this day I was more than keeping up with the fast lane pace at about 80-85 and the rest of the freeway was about 70-80. Ahead I see cars swerving out of the lane to avoid this big pile of big rig (or ford explorer tread separation) blown out tire tread was in the middle of the fast lane. Usually I'll swerve out, tap brakes, or even hit emergency flashers if there is road debris ahead that people behind me cant see. I don't have to worry about it most of the time b/c my Tacoma is lifted just enough where i can usually go right over it down the middle of the tires. A second after I go over it, I hear a nice satisfying THWACK as lowered ricerboy takes it right on the chin. He was nice enough to remove the debris from the road with his car's bumper and undercarriage as the cars behind him didn't have to swerve and he had to pull off the road.

I wonder if he maintained his cell phone conversation while the cop was writing the ticket out? Asshat probably did. I'm glad to see he got what he deserved. Truly a funny situation.

Yup. Telling such a person that they are "number 1" is a great way to make yourself feel better after they have made you mad. 😉

it's funny how their are pockets and groups of cars on the highway in the States. over in europe, the traffic is a constant flow, and you have to move out of the way if you are going slower than the person behind you.

i once read this article, can't remember where, but it made me realise this difference about the states and europe

yes, it is disappointing to finally get to the front of a pack of cars and it almost always is someone going slow in a left or middle lane.
