Haha yeah I suppose. My point was more that it makes no sense at all to brag about how many people get shot and sued where you live. That's fucking stupid.

Something tells me it's a lot easier.

No lease = No contract = There is a bum sleeping in your home/property. This is no longer a tenant and (in reality terms) becomes a criminal.

Hell, I'm curious if you could use deadly force if state laws say you can use deadly force to defend yourself at your own home 😛

Again - what legal authority/rights do they have to stay?

What if when the lease was up you planned to move back in since it's your own property? I would bust in and start sleeping there since it's my own house.

She had been late almost every month.
Stuff like this is why I'll never directly own investment real estate. I'm too damn lazy to put up with this crap. I'll settle for lower returns by investing in various REITs after the market has a significant correction.
