Well I've got a Home Theater

I have the home theater system now, it's all in boxes still, but I have it 😀. I'm turning my bedroom into a home theater room, painted all walls, trim, sanded, spackled, ordered new carpet, got special light blocking shades, and the room is now ready. Now what do you think of the speakers?

Infinity Primus 250's x2 (front)
Infinity Primus C25 (center)
Infinity Primus 150's (rear)
Infinity PS-8 (sub)
Onkyo TSXR503 (reciever)

^This for $999^

LG LDA511 DVD Player $150

Now add on cables, tax, speaker stands, and surge protector and it comes to

$1420.28

I already have a Samsung 26" 720P/1080I HDTV w DVI.

This is for a bedroom about 12x14.

So what do you think? (I've been p/ming jello for a while, and now I want to see what the rest of ATOT thinks)
 
Looks like a good setup. Great receiver for the money...

How's the TV??? I've never watched HD on something less than 42inch wide.

It looks awesome!!! It's a CRT so that means perfect black level, no pixel scaling problems, no response time issues, and since it's small you can't make out the individual pixels as much. It's great!!

Actually mines slightly upgraded,

Primus 360s
C25 (Same)
160 Bookshelfs (6 1/2" instead of 5 1/4")
PS-10 (Think we can figure out the difference between the 8 and 10 without saying anything)
Onkyo TXSR 602...

The one you have is awsome too tho, I only upgraded because I get Infinity Accomodations.

And for the person who posted above.... Thats a CC bundle, the speakers/sub/receiver for $999.

I gotta take a pic of mine some day... using a Sony KDFE42A10 for my TV.

Carpet isn't in yet, and the speakers aren't going into the room until the new carpet comes in. No point in putting the speakers in, then taking them out in a week when the carpet comes.

I guess I'm just irritated that after 70PMs back and forth since Oct 23rd this year and a bunch of different options discussed, you went out and got (what I would consider to be) ripped off.

You even waited a day before going back to buy it and didn't bother to send me a PM or check prices online.

Just annoying that we sent so many PMs back and forth and you could have done better for the price.

No it's not a futon. I got a double bed, I used to have a queen sized one, but we got a smaller one.
 
Sweet, I just finished building mine, lower budget though but for my bedroom it's great!! I was debating about getting HT audio but went with Logitech's Z-5500's instead and just got my Dell 2405 last week 🙂
