Was going about 39 down a 25 back road...and I got busted for doing it.

The fucking dickhead wrote that traffic was moderate (we were the only car for miles) and that road conditions were adverse (it was dry - there was nothing on them). That part is complete and total BS, and I'll see what I can do to contest that part.

The 39 part...lol. Just going to let that part go. I figure that it was the first time (according to him...) that I was pulled over, I can probably get that reduced to me NOT having my license suspended and 4 points, I hope.

I came home and the conversation with my mom was "lol....you're a dumbass. have fun with the fines".

Fuck. Hahaha, lesson learned. 40 hours a week to cover court costs, FTW!

I got a speeding ticket. He claimed 60 something in a 30 mph zone. No way I was going that fast. Do not know how i will fight it, but I am going to. He just goes "it's lidar, it is never wrong".

hire a lawyer. they charge a flat fee, usually their hourly billable fee based on how many hours they per day. maybe upto 500 bucks.

Or you can just do what they do. Submit your ticket as not guilty, postpone it online as many times as possible on the state dmv site, and then go to the actual court date and plea it down or get it dismissed.

the reason most people dont always do this, is because sometimes they have to take 2 days off, 1 to plea not guilty/or plea bargain it down... and possibly 1 more to go back and say you didnt do it and hope the cop dont show up.

Pretty serious fine for your offence. I didn't get my first ticket till I was 24, speeding doing 25 over but only got booked for 10 over, went to court and got it reduced. I kind of learned my lesson and don't speed that much anymore. I was like the only one out of all my friends who still hadn't got a ticket and I felt like "the shit" up to that moment lol.

Just got my first earlier this month too. It was for 80 in a 65. Just sucks cause it was at a completely straight and downhill portion of the freeway with no cars in sight. But I was probably doing about 80 at that downhill section so there was no argument from me. I figure 1 ticket in 10 years of driving isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things.

Look on the back of the ticket, it will also state that you were rude, uncooperative, had fast food wrappers strewn about the vehicle, breath smelled of garlic, were dressed like a hoodlum, unshaven, AND, had a bad haircut.
Ain't a lawyer in town that could defend you against all that. Face it son, you are going down!
