Went out to the garage, turned the key, and the Hayabusa started right up :D

Probably take it out for a spin in the next few days.

I love this time of year :D

Lots of people have done the same thing. Now I have to watch out for the asshat rough riders on campus.

Riding motorcycles is a Darwinian sport. Incompetents select themselves out. Unfortunately they often call upon people like you to do it for them.

Every year at about this time my dad takes out his 77 Triumph and starts it up and rides it around a block or two. Its in decent condition just not good enough to ride it around all spring/summer/fall... Sometimes I wish I had some connections to mechanics who could fix his bike up enough to ride it more, because it seems like he really misses riding around on it. :)

get a service manual, find a good message board and fix it yourself. Older motorcycles are relatively simple to work on...most everything is mechanically controlled as opposed to electronic like today.

I have no problems with people choosing to ride, but there is absolutely no reason why they need to ride in packs on their crotch rockets doing wheelies, racing, and speeding through the middle of a college campus.

I agree, and that is what I meant. I like to go fast, and never denied it, however I have seen the same kind of squids as you. If they want to do stunts, they can get all the road rash they want in an empty parking lot. There is no cause for them to put others at risk.

What's fun is to see them pull those moves in front of unmarked cop cars. That's a pretty good laugh.

Weather has been iffy here. Just at the point where there is some black ice around. Not fun. What do you ride?
