"teh stupid" comes to my mind when I read your post. Read through the thread (particularly the second post) before ranting.

see also the begining of my post: (regardless of whether or not williams is really the author).

my critique was focused on the content rather than the author (as the original poster seemed to agree with the content)-

Seriously, there's a lot of subtlety to american foreign policy that seems to be lost on williams. Why did/does the US continually support the Turks ethnic cleansing efforts while decrying substantially smaller (but none the less horrible) attrocities in croatia? It's not an easy issue to tackle, and anyone who chooses to polarize their historical views is actively choosing ignorance.

"teh stupid" comes to mind.

Where did you come to the conclusion that Mr. Williams isn't up to speed with current policies if he wasn't the one who made those comments :)

OMG, captain pedantic over here. I wrote "mr.williams" as it was stylistically awkward to write "mr.williams or whomever wrote the commentary". I assumed anyone who read the preface would understand that the criticism was directed at the author of the commentary, regardless of whether williams was the actual person.
