Well I'm 6 grand lighter in the pocketbook.

On the plus side, I just got all new furniture for my new place 🙂 Bedroom set, living room set and dining room set 😀

Man is furniture expensive, and I even got 20% off.

ouch!

When I moved into my apt, my parent's neighbor was demolishing their house and I got to hand select furniture for free.

I even got a brand new King Size bed for free! 🙂

I hear ya. Our new house is done and we're doing that now. New leather couch and chair set us back $1800, and it won't even be delivered for 3 more weeks 🙁

Some of my stuff is special order like the leather sofa and loveseat. The rest of it is regular stuff. I wont be moving into my new place for a couple of months though, so it has enough time to all arrive.

Technically you're only poorer by whatever you put down. If you REALLY think about it you're hopefully ahead if the car is worth more than the loan😉

I knew some people who moved from Colorado. They used to get extremely high-priced, practically brand new furniture for free. Apparently, there are rich neighborhoods there where people replace perfectly fine furniture just because they want a different look in there home. They then leave it on the side of the road for the garbage men instead of selling it.
