He is from Mammoth Spring, AR. Got that from the site that he wants us to join. It sounds like you two had a great time. I think its refreshing to hear how people from different parts of the country go out on dates...maybe to you and I this was a strange date...but from where thesithman is from this is a perfectly normal way to date...give the guy a break. And, if you guys keep picking on him we'll never hear how the night ended!!!
 
States generally handle gun laws individually. It's 18 for most states I believe, I don't think all states require you to carry permits (but concealed is a diff story). Also, for the more gun-oriented states if you're out in the sticks people really don't care anyway. I don't know why you are all getting your panties in a bunch over his gun thing. It's really doesn't sound like he's living in the suburbian home next to you. Keep your guns are bad crap out of here and respect their way of life. Guns are a tool, a culture, and a right

did you even read my post. i don't have a problem with guns when carried LEGALLY. did ya miss that word. if it is legal, great. grand. congrats. i couldn't care less. and i never said "guns are bad". so don't get your gun toting panties in a bunch and start shootin' in the air.

OK now that I said that ill say this. SHE IS NOT ANY KIN FOLK OF MINE. I do live in AR. Mammoth is out in the sticks to some of you gang bangers.
And if ya keep crapping about how guns are bad and no one should carry ill leave this forum for good. Most of you peeps sound like the type of guys that if the govenment told you to take three cups of eather every morning you would do it.

You certainly assumed they were ILLEGAL after stating so numerous times. Plus the statement wasn't directed solely at you. Do you see 'Pyonir' in my post?

Plus, EVERYONE needs to get off this stigma that guns = redneck.

No, i didn't see pyonir in your post, but i am the most vocal here, so i took it as directed at me. my apologies. I certainly did assume they were illegal because the last i heard was federal law states no one under the age of 21 can carry or purchase a handgun.

My g/f's grandparents are from Kentucky, so I've had the opportunity to go out there and visit, and trust me, there ARE people like that out there, but you can bet your life they couldn't figure out how to use indoor plumbing, let alone a PC on the internet.
