Recommend me some lenses, guess I'll be keeping the kit lens I got with the D70 (18-70mm AF-S DX f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED zoom Nikkor)

Am thinking a 50mm Nikkor, any other suggestions?

I like landscape photography too.

I've gotten some pretty good open box deals from them in the past, here's hoping it ships in the box with it's accessories like most of the open box stuff I've gotten from them did.

Damn it, charge was declined by my CC company for looking like a fraudulent purchase, have bitch slapped them, but NewEgg is closed now.

Someone else can snap it up if they're minded to 😀

if the link you provided is right, that's not an open box, it's a nikon recertified camera. take a look at the picture of the box, it says recertified underneath nikon.

so, it should come with everything.


edit: goddamn that thing has buttons for everything.
 
Wow, that's a very good deal for a D200. If I were to switch from Minolta/Sony, that would be the camera to do it, and I hear nothing but good things about the flash system, something my Sony can struggle with.

If I were to buy another camera now, I'd have to be sure that it would enable me to pay for an apartment because I would be kicked out of my house by the wife. 🙂
 
yea the D200 is a great camera, ive been thinking of upgrading to it, tho the fiji S5 also seems like an amazing camera, and as i dont really need a fast camera for most of what i shoot i cant decide
 
Well that was fun...

My credit card was tagged for fraud, I thought it was cleared up yesterday morning, but nooooo, I spent 1/2 an hour in Wal Mart trying to pay for my crap...

3 freaking calls to Amazon/Chase later & a chat with "Fred" in Manilla supposedly the card has been unflagged.

My only Nikon Lens is on my D70 with daughter @ summer camp 🙁

Meh, no lenses for me until I pay off the CC for the month 🙁

Although a 50mm lens from Amazon paid for with GC's would be sweet.

Damn, amazon doesn't sell them can't use my CG's on a 3rd party vendor there 🙁
 
It's a great camera. Personally I'm holding out for either the D300 or a used D2x, or a D3 (fat chance unless I'm rolling in money soon).
 
I really want a D200. I just bought (2 months?) a D40 because it was a decent sell and i couldn't justify buying a D80 when i know the sweet spot i wanted to hit was D200. D40 is a great starter body, just to get used automation and digital.

I jumped from my manual FE2 to the D40. Enjoying it thus far with the 18-200.
