To the point where it can ruin a relationship. I had to make a decision on who to pick. It did not end well. A bunch of, "Why did you pick him"? I tried to come in on common ground and make one be a groomsman, but they are both being childish about it to the point where words were said that really make me question the friendships. At this point, I need to scramble to find a MATURE person to be a best man and a groomsman. The groomsman, not an issue, but the Best Man, it will be awkward because most of my other friends do not even know my family. All I can say is both of them can F off. You guys are there to make this day joyous and worry free, and they are making it a living hell. So much for being there for me.

Wow, that asshole isn't a real friend. Believe me, most guys don't even want to go to weddings, let alone fight like a baby over being a certain member of the wedding party. Geesh.
 
Ehh probably for the best. You would have ended up sleeping on the roof of the casino in Vegas only to have them black out, forget the prank they pulled, and leave you up there for two days.

I dont get it the hissy fit these two are making after having many close friends not pick me to be their best man but was a groomsman. IMO being a groomsman has benefits in being part of the wedding party which means access to bridesmaids and free liquor. Also a guaranteed invite to the bachelor party. All without the responsibility of the best man.

Sometimes you find out who your real friends are (or aren't in this case) the hard way, and it sucks. But that's life.
 
I had 2 best men for my wedding. They're both like brothers to me and couldn't have chosen one over the other.
 
I had 2 best men. I was torn on the decision for a little bit, then I realized it was my wedding and I can do whatever the fuck I wanted.
