Damn I thought this chip topped out about 3.45ghz but decided to try for more
E5200 RO
Gigabyte G41M-ES2L
OCZ2G10662G 4gb running at 889mhz 5-5-5-12
Coolermaster Vortex 752 ----Needs replaced as it won't keep up with the heat
Had to bump the voltage a little bit cpu-z reads 1.264 at idle drops to 1.248 under load
Currently running at 333x12=4ghz rounded off
Updated today from here down
These are the stable settings I've gotten with the chip so far
3.75ghz (300x12.5) bios vcore set 1.29375 bios reads 1.268 cpu-z idle 1.248 load 1.232
4.00ghz (333x12.0) bios vcore set 1.33125 bios reads 1.300 cpu-z idle 1.290 load 1.264
4.16ghz (333x12.5) bios vcore set 1.38125 bios reads 1.348 cpu-z idle 1.334 load 1.312
My heatsink pretty much crapped out at 4.00ghz under load at 4.16ghz loaded upper 70's*C
Looking for a repacement cooler at the moment as load temps are getting crazy
With the following settings Vista loads up and I'm only able to load with Prime95 do to heatsinks inability to keep up.
4.25ghz (340x12.5) bios vcore set 1.40000 bios reads 1.364 cpu-z idle 1.360 load 1.344
This is the point that I loose my balls....Idles at 44*C load shoots to mid 80's*C withi a couple of seconds....Me kills load
I decided to kill any further testing until I replace the cooler but am thinking that I'd most likely be able to stabilize 4.25ghz....Not sure if she'd have anymore room after that tho.
Thanks,
Ken
