Well I found out I had a bad head gasket

A few months ago my car got very hot and I drove it a little further that I should have. I had a leaking water pump so I had a shop replace that, timing belt and a few other things for $340. I then found out my head gasket was bad so there goes another $600 but he also replace a few other things while he was in there. I am hoping I should be good to go now, will I notice any difference in mpg?
