Yeah there is that free one called guildwars but its a totally diffrent kind of game. In guildwars the max lvl 20 and its not really hard to get to. Sooo basically everyoen will get to high game pretty fast. The whole thing about guildwars is the PvP. They are trying to stress the point that its not just the lvl that matters..its the skill. In WoW some skill matters but even if you are an awesome lvl 36 mage....you arnt taking a lvl 40 priest...ever. In guildwars you are suppose to go into battles as a group against other players and then you can progress through lvls kinda like a PvP ladder system. I dont know..i saw it at a LAN last month, and while it is still in beta it looked pretty crazy.

That'd be quite interesting. Leveling up by taking down other players. And no fee to play each month.

i read that the servers have been really whack lately...like ppl can't connect, lag issues....it's causing a lot of ppl to cancel. ayone experiencing that?

Well so far in my meager 4 days of playing I have only experienced 1 time when I kept on getting disconnected. But it passed after like 5 minutes. That could have been anything. Can't really blame blizzard. Stuff like this has happened in every other MMORPG game I have played and I have played from Ultima Online, to Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, and Dark Age of Camelot. They always get it straightened out eventually. WoW is only what, like 5 or 6 months old right? And they still bring down the servers on a regular basis for maintenance, like this morning when I tried to sneak in a quick quest before I left for work 🙂 But that's to be expected. Oh well, at least we aren't paying to play this game or anything 🙂 haha
