Today, I decided it was time to replace old reliable mr 3000, I went to the local Acura dealer, test drove a TL, and bought it on the spot. Normally I take a long time, do all sorts of research, find the best deals, research some more before finally coming to a conclusion. This time, I just drove the car, was really impressed and bought it.

Anyone wanna buy a 300hp red Mitsu? ;)

Anyone else done something impulsive like that??

Put the 300hp Mitsu engine in the TL.

You just bought a super accord. Good choice nonetheless. Best interior of any car in that price range. And the leather smells fantastic.

TL == awesome. I love my TSX and the TL only improves on it. I drove a TL a month before I bought my TSX. My only (minor) complaint is I wish it were smaller. I like the smaller size of my TSX over the TL.

how much for the 3000gt?

I've always wanted one.
Well, since I had not intended to get a new car I haven't figured out what I want to sell it for. Probably something around $2500 to $3000. The blue book value on it is $4500, but I don't think any car that's 14 years old is worth that much unless it's a classic.

wow, $3000 for a vr4 is a steal. The car is very rare, so the bluebook value is not entirely accurate.

PM's replied to.

For those interested, yes, I'm serious about selling the 3000 VR-4 -- now that I've bought the TL I'll have to sell it (sniff :(). I don't mind having the car delivered somewhere, but that probably isn't cheap?

Yep, I figure especially here in Ohio the AWD was a really good thing. Fortunately, I also have an exploder....errr.... explorer here, so on those kind of days I'll take my wife's explorer.

Quite dumb to do that on a car w/o research (even 1 hour on the net to find true invoice pricing would've been very helpful), but it's your money...

It is a nice ride though, enjoy!
