Well.. I bought a used car.

Lifer
$18k out the door. 2005, 37k miles. It's an auto, but I'm not complaining. Black/black, premium package.

I think all I'll do is get a tint, debadge, and some Hotchkis sway bars and be set. 😀

Concludes my shopping for a while.. looked at new/used 135s, 370Z, 350Z, S2000s, EVO X GSR/MR before I decided to save a little money and get this.

Some of us don't need badges to accentuate the size of our penises.

good price, but autotragic

Yes, it seems a lot of auto sticks are out there, which is a real shame, because I think the G35s and G37 autoboxes use Torque converters.

Only car I drove that I found more comfortable was the 135.. too bad I simply couldn't afford that. :[

I really don't mind the auto. I commute every day and go into SF quite often.

I have a G35 auto sedan and every so often I wish I had gotten the stick version. You may regret it as the manumatic mode doesn't do any justice. I hate the fact to up-shift in manual mode you actual have to push up rather than pull down, it gets quite annoying to the fact I just leave it in auto. But then again my previous car was a stick and by weekend track car is stick.

Me either. I think it makes the car look like it was in a wreck and whoever hacked it back together didn't repalce the badges.

i was going to get one of these, the g37s its a really awesome car...but then I test drove a C6...couldn't look back.

BTW black is the fastest color 😉

It's just a cool way to lower your KBB :brokenheart:

I don't get it either, I know I'm almost 30 and therefore not cool anymore, but I consider it only a half a point above putting a painted hoodscoop on a Civic(I deduct a full 2 points for unpainted).

there is a mod on g35driver to switch that around, people have complained about it. the mod looks quick and easy to do. if you have a track car then this should be cake for you to do.

I have a G35x sedan auto but i really dont use it the manual version, only if i wanted to hold 2nd entering a highway.

Thanks for the link, I guess I should frequent g35driver more often 😉
But yeah after installing a double din radio in the car that mod should be cake.

I likey very much ... except for the transmission.

I have the same problem with my SC400. They never made them with a manual.

its not the same problem they made the coupes and sedans with a manual option. the manual option also came with goodies like 03-04 had brembo's and sports tune suspension. Only the AWD sedans never came in manual untill now i think they g37x coupe or sedan has a manual option.
