Honestly, how do you exit your car between two parked vehicles, without dinging their car?
It's a pain in the ass to have people driving the WRONG way when you pull up to a pump! It's totally retarded, and I'll never understand it. The hoses will strech all the way to the center of the back of a car, even if you're a full two feet from the curb. Not to mention, you'll generally pull past the pump, and still have the ability to swing the door fully open. I think this is another reason I prefer four doors. Two door cars have doors that are too long.Originally posted by: Zenmervolt

Of course it's possible. It's just a damn bloody lot more convenient to be able to open the door all the way at a gas station when there's no earthly reason why the fuel door can't be situated such that the driver's door can be fully opened.
You know, for someone who gets a whole hell of a lot of backup from me when people bitch about your preference for large American cars that last forever and can be easily and cheaply repaired, you sure know how to be a consumate jackass sometimes.

That's ridiculous. You can only pull into an auto teller one way. You can only drive up to a fast food pick up window one way. You only drive on one particular side of the road. Guess which side should have the filler?
