look how fortunate Rudy is to have his patron looking out for him.

rest of America can get fucked

To put it in perspective. My wife has a lady that reports to her at work. The lady and her father tested positive for Covid about a month ago. He ended up in the hospital for about a week and he was released. About a week later he was back in the hospital. His organs shut down and he passed away on the weekend. I am sure that he and Giuliani got different levels of care.

So why is he in the hospital?

Todays Guardian:

Donald Trump has said that former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who was admitted to hospital Sunday after being diagnosed with Covid-19, was “doing well” with the virus.

“Rudy’s doing well,” Trump said in response to a question from reporters at the White House. “He’s doing very well. No temperature and he actually called me earlier this morning. Was the first call I got.”

Should not only sick people be in the hospital.
When you have money you get special treatment.

My dad is about the same age as Rudy and has a number of conditions. I have no confidence he could access the same level of treatment.

Yup he said it thusly.

“If it wasn’t me, I wouldn’t have been put in a hospital, frankly,” Mr. Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, told WABC radio in New York. “Sometimes when you’re a celebrity, they’re worried if something happens to you they’re going to examine it more carefully, and do everything right.”

Bonus points for noticing the parallel with one of Trump's more infamous remarks caught on tape years ago. A sad but true commentary on a society where the rich and privileged get whatever they want.
