just dont let your child know they were an accident.

I could never view this as a accident. We had been trying for a few months with no results. Then we just sat down and talked and said let what happens, happen. That was about 3 weeks ago, shich was right around the time we got pregnant. 🙂

Congrats! That's basically what my wife and I did, we just found out a couple weeks ago 🙂

Congratulations!!! best wishes to you and especially your wife that she has a safe and enjoyable prgenancy and delivery!

Is there really such a thing as an enjoyable pregnancy? All I have ever known are hormones to be out of wack, moody, and just horrible to be around. Plus I won't even start on the woman.

Congrats!

i think so... many women loved being pregnant... sure it DOES get uncomfortable, but they still say the feeling and that time is something they cherish... plus, the have SO many cute maternity outfits/clothes now... no frumpy mummys anymore!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!

after 10 years of being together including 7years of marriage, yeah it's we now.

Grats. Kids are great. It's a little tough the first couple of months but it gets better and better. 🙂

Congrats to you too man! A rough guess is that we will be expecting the end of March- first of April. I don't know if we want to find out the gender or not. It would be a wonderful experience to be suprised, but there are a lot of practical issues that could be made easier by finding out.

I'm still reeling, it still hasn't sunk in yet that I am going to be a DAD!

I know what you mean, we have been together 10 years as well, though married only 1.5.

it's gonna take awhile to sink it, took me a couple months then one day it hit me that I was gonna be a father and I got really really dizzy and had to sit down. I get the same feeling each time she gets an ultrasound with me almost passing out when I found out it's a girl.

We wanted to find out what the sex is since we are in the middle of building a house and wanted to be able to do the nursery the color she wanted at one time. She also wants to have a name picked out soon so we can talk to the baby before she comes.

heck I'm getting dizzy talking about it right now.
