That cat lived a good life. I'm sorry I know what it feels like. My cat died because a doctor screwed up a surgery, and that killed my cat at age 13. Did a google search on the doctor and it turns out that he does illegal dog fights. Your cat died of natural causes, be thankful. Still

🙁

dude... I need to ask this, as a cat owner... did she suffer at the end, or did she die peacefully, in her sleep? Also, I see you "retired" her from duty (still can't figure out what you mean by it) only four days before she died - did you have any signs pointing out to a close demise?

nothing better in life than a good cat...mine is 16 and the best stray woman that
ever came crying into my life 🙂

sorry for your loss

she died peacefully... she wasn't in pain.

basically what i meant by retiring her from her duties was i brought her home from the farm because she needed more attention than a bunch of workers could give her in passing. She loved having people around all day, and she was used to the routine It has been a couple years since she has been up to catching mice. In the mean time she has just been a slow moving humble cat that loved to have her head scratched.

the day before i brought her home she was up and walking around, the next day she layed under some stuff too tired to move... and that's when i decided to take her home. Ive been watching her pretty close for a while, she was 24

-=Robert Louis Stephenson's epitaph=-

Under the wide and starry sky
Dig the grave and let me lie:
Glad did I live and gladly die,
And I laid me down with a will.

This be the verse you 'grave for me:
Here he lies where he long'd to be;
Home is the sailor, home from the sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.
