i liked it a lot
Nicely done! Looks like you had a blast. More pictures would've been nice though.

I'd love to go but I can't really justify a trip out that way unless its Vegas. Nvision 09 in Vegas and I'm there!
Thanks!
Well then, maybe i will see you at CES in Vegas

- San Jose is only a 7 hour drive for me, so i will visit there next year.
My old Cannon 3.2MP digi-cam died
as i was leaving for Nvision so i actually purchased a 7.1 Kodak Easy-share as i passed OM
on the way to San Jose. A lot of my stills weren't perfect and i *still* need to transfer video from my DVC - hours if it - and i will also add pics to that article. When i have time - after i finish benching all my new HW - i will upload video of some of the Keynotes and demonstrations at NVISION08 .
ABT is out of beta this weekend and we have a PILE of articles waiting to post as we prep for our Oct 1 "official launch"
- i also asked Nvidia for permission to use some of
their photos - so we will see how that goes

It's ironic that you went to NVISION and I went to the AMD Tech Tour.
Ironic? not for me; i really admire Nvidia and always have; i just never 'got' their "attitude" which i always perceived as
arrogant.
i always liked AMD as an *alternative* - when they step up to the plate successfully, they provide an excellent bang for buck. i hope to review BOTH companies products fairly and without bias. One tends to be more fair when you have BOTH products for testing in your PC .. at least that is what i have found over the last over 1-1/2 years when i started buying
both AMD
and Nvidia Graphics cards, starting with my 2900xt and my 8800GTS-640; and i alternated between my using 8800GTX and 2900xt crossfire.
Now it is between 280 and 4870 .. i am *loving it*
- except for the bills
