Well, apparently we are losing some freedoms.

What rights have we lost?
The right to criticize the government under the first amendment without reprisal. I mean Trump himself came out and publicly celebrated this.

Funny how for years conservatives shrieked about the first amendment when being banned from private social media websites despite the first amendment only applying in FAVOR of those social media sites' decisions but now when the actual government is attacking people for disfavored speech I don't hear a peep.

Especially odd from you who claims to be such a staunch defender of the Constitution!

It seems more like some extreme level of narcissism. Being banned from social media made them sad so the government should step in and force social media companies to make them feel happy again. In this case the government attacking people who say things they don't like makes them happy so it's fine. In the future if a Democrat undertakes the exact same action against some conservative guy then right wingers will become staunch defenders of the Constitution again and will pretend this never happened or at least they never supported it.

In the future Second Reconstruction, we should take staunch action against anti-constituonal parties, even if the action seems "illiberal". Can't let that shit fester, as we are now seeing the results.

Yes I think we will look back and see that Biden attempting to return to normalcy by not having Trump arrested almost immediately was a grave error. In the end I'm not sure it would have mattered given it probably would have just pushed up SCOTUS' 'the president is a king who can murder with impunity' ruling but it was still the right thing.

The main concern is right after the intro:

“The Trump Administration seems hellbent on dismantling the system of checks and balances which are the pillars of a democratic society,” said Mandeep Tiwana, Interim Co-Secretary General of CIVICUS, in a press release. “Restrictive Executive Orders, unjustifiable institutional cutbacks, and intimidation tactics through threatening pronouncements by senior officials in the Administration are creating an atmosphere to chill democratic dissent, a cherished American ideal.”

Some new amendments around strict limits on spending, maybe limiting campaign time, or a full rewrite that converts to a parliamentary system with a scotus that is less gamable by being vastly expanded and judges randomly selected for each case. Also at least a tripling of the number of reps.
