Now lets think about this. If welfare abuse constitutes a large amount of welfare spending and welfare spending is large than wouldn't spending on welfare abuse also be large?

That's your supposition to prove, so prove it.

Sounds like you think people are too stupid too figure out if they are capable of paying a mortgage. And yet you want to let these idiots decided whether they are capable of being parents?😱

Seems like you are making the OP point. People are too stupid to decide whether to have children by themselves and need the government to protect them from themselves.

Nice bit of snipping of my post.

It sounds like you think that the banks are utterly powerless every time a drunken tramp wants £500k in order to pay for a new bit of string for his dog, and need the government to protect them from themselves.

You obviously missed the NPR article didn't you?

Realize this is the woman NPR chose to represent 14 million people.

Banks are stupid and need to be regulated. You will get no disagreement from me there.

So surprise, surprise, you're once again holding two separate thoughts and disagreeing for, well, I can't quite see why you do it.

Presumably it's just so you can moan about women no matter what is being talked about.

What separate thought am I holding.

Banks have been shown to repeatedly make bad choices requiring society to bail them out and so we should regulate them.

Woman have shown to repeatedly make bad choices requiring society to bail them out and so we should regulate them.

Completely in agreement.

Presumably it's just so you can moan about women no matter what is being talked about.

Except the topic of the OP is women receiving welfare. How exactly does one discuss that topic without mentioning women?
