🙂HI

Wow, great bunch eh! Thanks for the warm welcome and I'm glad to be here!

Just learnt about DC and SETI this week so I'm about three years behind but reading as much as possible to have a better understanding of all this and catch up a bit.

Just a bit about me: quit my network admin job to start my home based business about 1 1/2 yrs ago with little success 🙁 :| , lol. (Got more residential accounts than corporate I was hoping for).

Need to put the network back up so the SETI Driver doesn?t get interrupted (I keep stealing the cable connection to perform updates on other systems).

Talk to you all later and thanks again guys!

Sharam.

I'm glad you popped in!

Once you get the network set up at home, you may wish to take a look at SetiQueue, which can store Work Units (WU)s for all computers on your network. I use this on my home network as well as SetiDriver, as it gives me that extra level of caching, and it will also means SetiDriver will never run out of WUs, and SetiQueue will try to connect to the Berkeley servers more often than SetiDriver will do 🙂

I hope you become a common avatar around here 🙂
