Sorry for the delay in my reply, but I was upgrading my system to XP, and it took me a while to get everything working....:frown:

I just ran through a few WU's and this is what I got.

1. 3 Hours 18 minutes
2. 3 Hours 20 minutes
3. 3 Hours 21 minutes
4. 3 Hours 19 minutes

Guess that would give me an average of around 3 hours 20 minutes..... 😀

Too bad this machine is too busy to leave running al the time.

Hi Nutzo and welcome to the TeAm!! 🙂

I've got one of those as well, but running 24/7. Mine is a Dell Latitude. 15 hour WU times really blow!

Is it normal to for there to be an ocasional wide swing in the WU times ?

Here's the times for my last 6 WU's, with little or no other load on the CPU.
The first 5 are what I'd normally expect, but # 6 was alot faster.

3.326
3.310
3.333
3.364
3.343
2.573 :Q

Did I just happen to get an easy WU ?

That might be it 🙂

There are also WUs that are completely full of noise, and therefore there is nothing to analyse. They can complete in around 10 seconds! 😀
