Confused

I do have a question. On the SETI program - the page on installing it said to set the Desired Cache Size to 10. What does this control and do? Should I run mine at 10 or higher? Thanks for your time and input in all this.

Russ

The Desired Cache size is how many Work Units to store on your computer. I recommend that you set this to about 3-5 days worth of production. This is in case say your internet connection goes down, in which case you are unable to get to a public queue or directly to Berkeley.

Your 1800XP should do WUs in about 3h30m (i think) so if it's running 24/7 then that's about 7 per day (if my math is correct!), so 3 days would be 20-25 WUs and 5 days would be about 35-40.
