AlphaTea, We are so glad to have you even if you were just starting out. What is your rig and how are you running SETI?

I am running the standard SETI GUI
System as follows:
SC-750 case with ~12 fans, Abit BH-6, CII 633/950 w/GORB, 384 MB Crucial Ram, 3Com NIC(2), Cable Modem, Radeon AIW, SB-128, POS SCSI card for ZIP drive, 20mb WD, 20mb Maxtor, EIDE 100 card, Firewire card for camcorder, USR 56k modem, Plextor 12/10/32, Sony DVD/CD-rom, 3COM Web Cam, Ergo MS keyboard, cheapo MS Mouse, Sidewinder joystick, Viewsonic Gs-773, Epson 860, HP 4100 (when it works), all running on WIN-ME
whew
I think it must weigh more than 100 lbs (w/o monitor) and it sounds like a 747. It does have a label that says it is a NO BS Super-whammodyne Jones-a-tronics Techno-marvel 2000 Mod3 Mark-II rev9.
Think Im gonna trade it for an E-machine

Hey AlphaTea you might find you get a lot faster results and higher production if you switch to the cli client (follow Follow method 2) or at very least set the gui screen saver to goto blank screen after <5mins. :)

Alex :D

edit: opps silly me i put the arrow round the wrong way!
