Pennsylvania is still stuck in prohibition
can only get beer at a distributor. NO gas stations NO supermarkets - nearly impossible to get a 6 pack
the distros close at 9 or 10 pm on weekdays not open on Sunday
liquor stores aren't open on sat or sun IIRC close early
if you find a place that sells 6 packs you are only legally allowed to carry them out of the building to your car 1 at a time
Awwww......did someone down here twist your panties into a wad?
But I guess if having more drunks on the road is a sign of being in the 21st century, you can keep it.
It still has to be signed by the Governor (which he said he will not oppose) and THEN it goes to the local government ballots this Fall for us to vote on. It is going to be passed on a county by county basis. We're not out of the woods yet kids!
You are either trolling or have chromosomal abnormalities.
when colorado passed the law allowing sale on sunday....no one ever bought on sunday anyway because.
Hawaii Liquor laws > all.
I can go into a supermarket and pull out a handle of jack dagnels for cheaper than any mom and pop store in the country
Definitely trolling, poster has a history of doing this.
i hate that there's no beer sales on sunday before noon here. how am i supposed to pick up a 6 pack on my way to the tailgate?
also no hard liquor sales at all on sunday. this is probably something the liquor store owners don't really want to change as that means they'd have to be open for an additional day without increasing sales that much. sorta like car dealers (must be closed one weekend day, it's really about not paying employees).
Are the sin taxes significantly lower or ? I don't understand why it would be cheaper in Hawaii than in any of the other states that allow supermarkets to sell liquor. For me everything seems more expensive in Hawaii.
Dagnels?

No idea, probably because supermarkets can buy bigger quantities than mom and pop stores, and don't have to mark up as much. A 750ml bottle set me back about 16.99 this christmas, they run between 19.99-24.99 here. That was regular price, not sale price.
Jack Daniels. Dagnels for the drunkos.
One of these days you Americans will have that "freedom" thing you always harp on about. Maybe.
