whenver I play an asx file with in a webpage ( i hope you know what I mean , is those embedded player found in sites like ifilm.com)
wm6.4 will load up and after a while , a gray screen will appears with sound

however , i went to the ms media showcase site and that asx files work for me ( it opens up wmplayer 8 instead )
Therefore right now I have 2 problems, first those web video doesnt work and secondly, why does wm 6.4 always appear, even if I have already set the default program to open asx files as wmplyaer 8)
I am using windows xp and with the codecs package installed
