What do y'all think about the this message that says "Windows is a service..."? I mean that's a creepy message and I think that means that they will always want control of their OS in perpetuity. Just curious.

Looks like a fake udpate and very likely trouble. I would send it to Microsoft to let them track down the phony site.
 
That looks like the standard prompt you get when there's a feature update available. I got the same message last week on my HTPC after powering it on for the first time in months.
 
Looks legit to me. It's a Windows notification service and is most likely the 1803 Spring Update.
 
The first time I saw a message like this message I pulled Windows Update and confirmed it was legit. My suggestion is to do the same whenever these look "suspicious" to you.
