upon post it gives me the safe/lastknown/etc options as an error occured.
everyone of these options leads to the same BSOD.xp will begin to load then a message comes up to something like "unmounted(able?) boot sector,an error has occured please f8 blah blah.

any suggestions?🙁
the data is still intact, but im running of a measly 1gb with xp installed atm with the cripple hooked up as slave.
theres a ton of data on the drive, much i dont want to lose, then again if its smehting simple that doesnt require me to reformat/it would make my exsistence much easier.

Have you tried booting with an emergency disk and selecting the boot sector scan? Sometimes that will catch errors in the MBR. Sounds like your partition table may be frunkdafied. Just MHO though.

Sounds like your getting a STOP 0x0000007B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. Can you verify that?

What changes did you make to the machine before problems started?
