Weird win2k problem

I opened up Outlook Express and got a registry error. So my computer rebooted and when I try logging in it says that my profile can not be loaded. How do I fix this?

Windows can not load your profile because it may be corrupted. Contact your administrator.

Any one know how to fix this?

I've seen this problem before but only because the machine did not have enough memory.

I highly doubt this is the problem since I have 512mb ram and 120gb hard drive space.

Is there any way I can restore the user profile so that I can view all of my emails and stuff like that?

Have you tried to sign on as administrator, copy those files somewhere and then recreate your your log on?

Thanks for all your help. I figured it out, well at least for the most part. I lost my emails, but that really isnt a big deal anymore. Thanks again.

That bytes that you lost your email. MoFunk was on the ball on this one. I've done this a few times, just the way he said.
