Weird w2k office 2000 problem? opens but closes right away

I just did a fresh install of w2k w/sp2 on a laptop. Installed office 2k and both service packs also

After reboot of install of office; everytime i try to open word and any other office app it opens and closes right away.

any ideas?

This is a software issue and not General Hardware.

Warez'ed versions of Office 2000 cause the problems you are having.
