Weird video playback problems

I have a playlist of about 30 small 1minute vids for a presentation, and after viewing a few vids, Windows Media Player resizes them to about 25% of what they start out to be, and randomly goes back to the original size. It happens randomly.

Could it be a weird codec issue? is there any freeware I can use to re-encode the vids to a better, more reliable codec?

Help please cause this is for an important presentation and I need the vids to be as consistent as possible.

Sounds like a bug. Use Powerpoint to give presentations, not WMP. You can insert your movies there, on slides, which will never, ever harm your precious presentation elements. PPT is gentle like that...
