I built my system around christmas and maybe it was the weather but my temps are a lot higher now, maybe it was the new burner I installed but anyone have any ideas? I have a Shuttle AK31A witha AMD XP 1400 @1450, CPU temps are 40-47 when its idel/loaded and my case temps are 20-26. Should there be such a big difference in case and cpu temp?

*edit, forgot to mention I used a Golden Gate 30 to cool it
Thanks

The difference between those two temperatures is normal. Case is
Always a lot cooler then proc.
You say that your temperatures are higher than before ?
Do you have any extra case vents ? If not, get them ! :D

My case temp is 24 and CPU temp is 42. So yours are normal.

I really dont think a burner would add much to the overall heat in the case unless you have very poor ventilation. When the temps were lower, was the room temp lower? Room temp is possibly the biggest factor in CPU temp issues.
