Weird Temperature Readings..maybe.

Hey guys, I've had my Q6600 overclocked from 2.4 to 3.2 for quite some time now (3-4 months) and everything is fine. Getting idle temps at around 42 and loads around 60. Since it's getting hotter, and I leave my computer on in my room, my room is getting quite hot. I figured I would solve this by lowering the cpu voltages to cool the computer down. I have been lowering the voltages for a few days, and running prime 95 at night to check stability. Keep in mind the OC is still at 3.2. I use nTune's event logging feature to monitor the temps and when I checked the temp. readout for last night, the temperatures were rising! I usually had temperatures at 57C like I said earlier, but the log shows that I was reaching 68-69 degrees Celsius! Does this make sense? Same overclock with lower voltages = higher temperatures? If anyone could provide some insight that would be great. Thanks!

Specs as follows.

EVGA 750i FTW board
Q6600 @3.2 ghz (400x8)
Corsair Dominator, 4gb @ 1066
XP Professional (dunno if that matters)
GTX 260 (again, dunno if that matters)
and an Ultra 750w PSU.

EDIT: oh and I have a Thermaltake V1 CPU cooler.
